A feverish and affectionate portrait of transgender artist and performer Genesis P-Orridge, who transformed over the years to look alike his significant other the blond Lady Jaye. A major artist of New York avant-garde scene for the past 30 years, considered by many the father of industrial music, Genesis challenges the limits of art and biology with his key project “Creating the Pandrogyne”, in which he strives to look like his life and artistic partner, Lady Jaye (née Jacqueline Breyer). Combining personal footage and home movies, Marie Losier follows this ultimate act of devotion, a risqué and ambitious performance, but most importantly, an unprecedented declaration of love between two nonconformists, violently interrupted by Lady Jaye’s passing, in 2007.
