From his first tormented film Disorder (1986) to the epic biopic fresco Carlos (2010), Olivier Assayas has demonstrated an unwavering audacity, reinventing himself in film after film, creating a body of work of a richness and variety that is rare in French cinema. During this complete retrospective, presented for the first time in Paris, the filmmaker will talk about his career, his influences, and his view of the seventh art, showing selections from his filmography.
