Car customising, speed, roadways: this is the life of Alex, 25, attached to the steering wheel of his souped-up car. An exclusive passion, with its rites and its codes, and with no real place for his girlfriend Rachel or their child. But one night, in the fast lane, an accident occurs... In his first feature film, Christophe Sahr gives a nostalgic rendering of the cinematic motifs of speed and the cult of the great American films of the 1970s while portraying a sensual story of rebirth in an ordinary French suburb.
