A psychopath is released from prison after serving time for murder. He has only one thing in mind: to kill again. After attempting to strangle a woman, he takes refuge in a house inhabited by an old lady, her daughter, and her disabled son. Inspired by an incident that shook Austria in 1980, Angst enters, for one day, into the mind of a serial killer obsessed with crime. The filmmaker, whose only feature film this is, has created an icy thriller rocked by the animal-like performance of Erwin Leder
