Bande annonce

In the twilight of his life, Auguste Renoir is given an unexpected new burst of energy when he meets the lovely young Andrée. Glowing with vitality and radiant beauty, she will be his last muse, his fountain of youth. His son Jean, apprentice filmmaker, returns wounded from the war; he convalesces in the family home and quickly falls in love with this auburn star, despite the begrudging opposition of his father the painter. Gilles Bourdos celebrates one of the great Impressionist painters, with Michel Bouquet in the title role. A delicate film about the beauty of art and the power of love, illuminated by the sensual, spontaneous performance of the young Christa Theret.
