Bande annonce
In a small town in Mississippi, Robbie, 14, abandoned by his mother, is forced to deal with his half-brother and grandmother. Summer arrives, but the vacation ahead seems doomed when Robbie's older brother reappears, giving the boy hope of seeing his family reunited again. With restraint and simplicity, Matthew Gordon has crafted a delicate family melodrama centered on Robbie, a young teenager whose carefreeness is too soon replaced by responsibilities. Thanks to the remarkable performance of William Patrick Ruffin, Summertime is a realistic and forthright view of the U. S. deep south
