Extrait du film

After disappearing for ten years, Jacques turns up again in the life of Mado, who is now married and the mother of seven-year old Paul. The relationship of this former couple was tainted with the death of a child. Mado has rebuilt her life, but Jacques seems unable to, and he is shaken when he meets Paul. The growing complicity between Jacques and Paul eventually disturbs Mado, who forbids them from seeing each other again. But Jacques will not stop there… With her first feature film starring William Hurt and Alexandra Lamy, inspired by a true story, Sandrine Bonnaire confirms her talent as a director; she accomplishes the miracle of dealing delicately with a very poignant subject. Incredibly moving!
