Cleo, a young and beautiful singer, is afraid to have cancer. It is 5pm and she has to wait until 7pm to get medical test results. To cheat fear, she wanders through Paris and takes refuge among her friends from who she gets little support. While the Nouvelle Vague was at its heigh, Agnes Varda turned master of time and deals with the fear of mourning with the optimism of strollers. Real-time, Cleo opens her eyes, the skyline becomes blurred and Varda’s aesthetics comes to life.
