An anonymous benefactor. A professor at the Sorbonne turned into a beggar. A travelling salesman who reappears after twenty years' absence. A businessman caught up in his own lies. One man but a multitude of fates... In this labyrinthine universe, all is sham and wild goose chases that are outlandish and absurd, poetic and hilarious. A compulsive storyteller, Ruiz has produced a joyfully crazy farce thanks to the subtleties of his scenario, his language, and his surrealistic interpretations. With Melvil Poupaud and Chiara Mastroianni, Marcello Mastroianni gives a delightful performance
