Helen, an elegant and haughty matriarch, is celebrating her 75th birthday with her three children. Feeling her end approaching, she broaches the question of her inheritance. But what are a designer between Paris and New York, an expatriate manager in China, and a media economist to do with this heritage? After three films that extended beyond his borders (Demonlover, Clean, Boarding Gate) and before touring the world for the epic Carlos, Olivier Assayas returned to France for this reassuring universal reflection on a family's heritage and memories. A delicate study of our intimacy, led by a trio of actors of exceptional freedom and vibrant sincerity.
