For its ninth edition that will be held from July 2nd to 13th 2011, Paris Cinema IFF will honor actor Michael Lonsdale and its tremendous career.

From the most popular French cinema, with the great supporting parts he so perfectly embodies, to the most challenging arthouse films (Duras, Robbe-Grillet) to the New Wave (Truffaut, Godard and even Eustache) and some of the greatest directors in the world (Welles, Buñuel, Losey), Michael Lonsdale’s career follows more than 50 years of cinema history.

A breathtaking career that will be traced with a retrospective of about twenty of his movies in the presence of Michael Lonsdale.
