Come to Paris Projects and meet around: - 11 projects in development - a film in post-production - a public seminar on European Tax Incentives Systems - Japanese producers and Unijapan representatives
The ambition of Paris Projects is to bring together key players in the French film industry, around international production projects that are not yet finalised. What makes Paris Projects so special is that it aims at encouraging French professionals to get involved in foreign projects and films in development in order to promote financial arrangements, co-productions and networking with potential French and European partners.
All of these events will happen from July 5 to 7, at the MK2 Bibliothèque and the BNF – Site François Mitterrand, Paris (13th district).

PARIS PROJECTS MEETINGS
Paris Projects invites the foreign filmmakers and producers of the 11 selected projects to spend 3 days in Paris: personalized appointments and meetings are organized with French and European professionals who are likely to be interested in those selected projects and to bring them financial support through co-production or presales. Meetings will occur from July 5 to 7, MK2 Bibliothèque (13th).

PARIS PROJECTS SCREENINGS
For the first time in 2007, Paris Projects will organise the screening of a film in postproduction seeking partners such as sales agents and/or distributors to achieve completion. July 7, 11am, MK2 Bibliothèque
River People, by He Jianjun / China / Beijing Jingle Culture Development Co. 35mm / 91mn / Color / Mono Set in the present-day time on the Yellow River bank in Sha'anxi province, north-west part of China. It is a tale about two boys of the fishing families on the river, who are out-laws of the Chinese society with no social or medical insurance, no social subsidy and paying no tax. It is a story about two teenage boys, one wants to leave for the city, the other wants to stay. The film intends to show the life of those people who are reluctant to meet the challenges of the changing world as they are happy with what they are. Presented by Shan Dongbing (producer)

Individual meetings will be organized with the Japanese producers attending Paris Projects vfor the professionals interested in finding partners and projects from Japan.

A European Tour of the main tax shelters and tax incentives systems in Europe, with specifications on the constraints imposed and their eventual compatibility. With a special focus on France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Ireland, Hungary and the UK.
