Paris Project
Paris Cinema IFF's co-production and development platform
July 5 to 7, 2010
MK2 Bibliothèque (Paris, 13e), Bnf (Paris, 13e)
Paris Project is the co-production and development platform of Paris Cinema IFF.
Paris Project is a three days event, taking place early July, that brings together around twelve international projects in development and a few films in postproduction, that are looking for French and European potential partners (such as co-producers, sales agents, distributors, financers...). The ambition of Paris Project is to bring together key players in the French film industry, around a few high quality international production projects that are not yet finalised. What makes Paris Project so special and successful is that it aims at encouraging French professionals to get involved in foreign projects in development and films in postproduction in order to promote financial arrangements, co-productions and networking with potential French and European partners.

Presentations of the European and South-Korean industries, pitchings and feedbacks of the projects, seminars on production, participation to Paris Project's Meetings and Screenings will be organised. 2/ EUROPA DISTRIBUTION
Since last year, Paris Project is partner with Europa Distribution, the European Network of Independent Distributors. Europa Distribution, with a membership of 70 leading independent distributors representing 19 countries, serves as the voice of the European independent film distributor. It acts as a lobby, a think tank as well as a network and aims to develop a strong European film industry. In 2009, Europa Distribution brought 40 leading independent European distributors to Paris Project / Paris Cinema IFF, where they took part to Paris Project and to Europa Distribution Workshops and seminars.
This year, we will strengthen this collaboration and the distributors will be invited to participate to Paris Project's Meetings and Screenings.
