This year again, for its second edition taking place between June 30 and July 13, Paris Cinéma will invite Paris filmgoers on a festive tour of the capital and provide a great opportunity to experience cinema in all its forms - previews, tributes, retrospectives, etc.

Paris Cinéma is an invitation to Parisians, and to those, French and foreigners, who spend the early summer in the French capital, to discover, along with its many guest talents:

Today's cinema

The aim is to encourage Parisians to venture into the best of this year's cinema, including previews selected from the most prestigious international festivals, about twenty premieres of films competing as part of the "Rencontres Internationales" (organised by the Forum des Images), and a selection of all film genres.

Unforgettable cinema

Paris Cinéma offers Parisians a big screen experience of unforgettable movies and takes them
on a tour of cinemas – films by great "auteurs", classics from the whole world… a chance to
discover the wealth of the 7th art.
A tour of Europe's cinema: Great-Britain
The BBC as a talent scout (Alan Clarke, Mike Leigh, Stephen Frears, etc.)
Paris to London and back (under the chairmanship of Charlotte Rampling)

taking place all over the city: day and night adventure for cinema lovers, free open-air
screenings and a great Cinema Ball on the closing night of Paris Cinéma (July 13).

contemporary cinema, by encouraging professionals and filmgoers to meet and reflect.
