This year again, for its second edition taking place between June 30 and July 13, Paris Cinéma will invite Paris filmgoers on a festive tour of the capital and provide a great opportunity to experience cinema in all its forms - previews, tributes, retrospectives, etc. Special guests at Paris Cinéma 2004Jean-Paul Belmondo, Charlotte Rampling, Karin Viard, Michel Ocelot, Oliver Stone (USA), Tim Roth (Great-Britain), Fernando Solanas (Argentina), Cheng Pei-pei (Hong Kong), Chung Chang-wha (Korea)… Opening night: June, 28 as from 9.30 PMFree outdoor screening of Le Magnifique, by Philippe de Broca with Jean-Paul Belmondo attending, in front of the City Hall
Paris Cinéma is an invitation to Parisians, and to those, French and foreigners, who spend the early summer in the French capital, to discover, along with its many guest talents:
Today's cinemaThe aim is to encourage Parisians to venture into the best of this year's cinema, including previews selected from the most prestigious international festivals, about twenty premieres of films competing as part of the "Rencontres Internationales" (organised by the Forum des Images), and a selection of all film genres. Previews: about fifteen screenings in the presence of films crews
